Foundation Course: 

The foundation keyboard course is the course offered for beginners.

 

The key features of the foundation keyboard course include -

  • A wide variety of fundamental finger drills and exercises that help in developing control over the keys and finger movements. 

  • Introduction and understanding of short-hand music notation.

  • Learning popular tunes including rhymes, themes and songs that help students understand the practical applications of their fundamental exercises and knowledge of music.

  • Developing an understanding of basic rhythmic patterns and harmony.

Intermediate and Intermediate Plus+ :

The key features of the Intermediate and Intermediate Plus+ courses are - 

  • Introduction to Scales

  • Introduction to Staff Notation (music reading)

  • Chord Knowledge and their applications on songs.

  • Using the various functions of the Keyboard, including voices, styles, accompaniment etc.

  • Arranging and playing popular songs, themes and melodies.

  • Developing left and right hand coordination. 

Advanced Course:

The key features of the Advanced course are - 

  • Deeper and more detailed study of scales and chords, and their practical implementations.

  • Learning the advanced functions and features of the Keyboard.

  • Advanced sight reading.

  • The study of multiple genres. 

  • Students are trained to perform solo and in a band on a professional stage.

 

Right from the very beginning, every student gets a chance to showcase their skills at our annual event, WAVES. This helps in inculcating in the students the habit of performing in front of audiences.

Students are also prepared for the Electronic Keyboard examinations conducted by Trinity College, London once they have reached the Intermediate Plus+ and Advanced Levels.
